Collection and use of Data
We use a visitor counter that supplies us with non-personally identifiable information on our visitors. When someone visits our site the stats counter tells us which pages have been visited and the order the pages were visited. The stats counter also tells us which links were clicked. Depending on your own security settings a stats counter can also record information about your IP address, operating system and browser .
This information is not personally identifiable, however it is sometimes possible to determine from an IP address a visitor’s Internet Service Provider and the geographic location of the visitor (what part of the country or world our visitors are visiting from, this does NOT include exact locations. For example we will know if a visitor is visiting from London, or Birmingham, but we won't know the exact location or their name or their address)
Why do we collect this information?
Some of this information is hugely helpful to us when designing our website. For example knowing the size of our visitors browsers, as this can have big impact on how our website works on different computers or operating systems.
All internet users have an IP address. This determines your visit as a unique visit, or a returning visit. It is important for us to have an idea of the volume of web traffic we are receiving.
We don't have access to sensitive information regarding your bank or payment details.
We use PayPal checkout. This means that TaggaRoo doesn't collect your payment details. Paypal processes your payment for us.
If you buy something from TaggaRoo we do have access to your name, your address and email address as we need these to process your order.
We do not store cookies on your computer
Any changes to our privacy policy will be posted here.
If you have any more questions regarding your privacy when visiting our site please do not hesitate to email us at contact@taggaroo.co.uk
